The meeting is the first event organized under an agreement, signed by the University of California San Francisco (San Francisco, USA) and the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Naples Federico II (Napoli, Italy), under the high Patronage of The Mayor of Naples and the Italian Consulate in San Francisco.

This agreement aims to facilitate international academic exchanges, to develop scientific relationships, and to support collaborative research activities as a framework for cooperative programs and initiatives between the “Two Universities by the Bay”.
